Ice & Lights Fest Kicks Off Our 150th Anniversary in January!

NOTE:  Road Closure | Front Street will be closed from 3 to 7:00 p.m. for this event
with NO PARKING on Front Street from 2 to 7:00 p.m.

Help us kick-off our 150th Anniversary Celebration with our 3rd Annual Ice & Lights Fest!  Embrace the season of snow and ice in Lemont Downtown and enjoy an afternoon of ice, lights and family fun!

NEW / JUST ANNOUNCED!  MEET ARCHIE!
Sneak a peek at our new Archie mascot and his good friend, Stash at the Ice & Lights Fest!

 THE DETAILS
  • Shop, dine, and engage with the festive holiday lights and beautiful ice sculptures! *Ice Sculptures should be on display by 2:00 p.m. and will stay on display until they melt away;
  • Weather permitting, the Lemont Tractor Club will be giving FREE hayrides around the downtown!
  • 3:30 to 6:30 pm: Visit with Belle (3:30 to 5 pm), and Elsa & Olaf (5 to 6:30 pm) at Three Stories Books, 310 Canal Street;
  • From 3:30 to 5:30 pm, Face painting at Digs on Canal, 316 Canal Street (Outdoor Igloo);
  • Starting at 4 pm, LIVE ice carving demonstration in front of Hayes, 105 Stephen Street;
  • Free popcorn in front of Hayes, 105 Stephen Street, while supplies last;
  • *Free to the first 600, get hot chocolate from the Creamery which will be located on Front Street;
  • DJ on Front Street to help us rock in our 150th Anniversary; and
  • Starting at 5 pm, join in the Light Up Dance Party on Front Street by Next Mex. **Limited number of light tubes and tambourines available while supplies last!

    WHERE TO PARK
    All of the Village of Lemont's public parking lots will be available for this event. There are public bathrooms at the Metra Station and at Safety Village. In addition, port-a-potties will be located on Front Street near the light display by Next Mex.
