September 21 to October 19: VOTE For Your Favorite Scarecrow in the "Scarecrow Trail” Competition! Theme: Be A Good Sport – Represent your favorite activity!

September 21: LJWC and Lemont Township’s Welcome Scarecrow Fest
Location: Lemont Township Community Center, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Family scarecrow fest - free admission! Bring the whole family for games, Lemont Tractor Club hay rides, DJ, Library Storytime, and food for purchase. There will be fun for all ages! Ladder Trucks, Fire Engines & Ambulances! Firefighter Paramedic Demonstrations and Displays! Together with community partners we invite you to a day of safety kicking off Fire Prevention Week. This year’s Fire Prevention WeekTM (FPWTM) campaign, “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!" strives to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home. October 26: Lemontster Trick-or-Treating | Downtown Lemont (Formerly Halloween Hoedown)
Downtown Business Trick or Treating, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Dress up in your Halloween costumes and join in the fun as our participating downtown Lemont businesses hand out treats! Look for their Candy giveaway sign in the door if they are handing out candy. Maps of the participating businesses will be around the downtown and will include a QR code. Visit Village Green at 322 Main Street for more Halloween fun with your favorite Lemontster Archie and his spooky friends! Grab a Lemontster Trick-or-Treat bag, dance with the DJ, and be amazed by the Bubble Artist!
October 31: Happy Halloween! Trick-or-Treat!
Village Trick-or-Treat Hours, 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Lemont Park District invites you to join in on some ghoulishly good fun... decorate your Lemont residence for Halloween! Great prizes will be awarded.

- Decorations must be up by October 23.
- Winners will be announced on Lemont Park District social media, website, and Lemont Patch.
