Lemont Commuter Train Station

Effective January 1, 2022 all permit parking in the commuter lots will be changed to daily parking spaces.  The Village of Lemont will no longer sell yearly commuter parking permits. 

All spaces will be $1.75 per slot per day.    Payments can be made at the station (machines) or pay by phone.  The amount is the same with either method.

Daily Parking Pay Stations

All daily parking spaces will be numbered and can be seen either overhead or painted on the ground area of each individual parking space.   

The Lemont Commuter Parking Lot has pay stations that accept credit cards and cash (exact change only) for daily parking slots. The fee for daily parking is $1.75 per slot, per day. Exact change must be used in the machines, as they will not give out change. The pay stations are integrated with “Passport Parking” to allow pay by phone payment.

Passport Parking System

With the launch of the Passport Parking System, commuters parking at the Village of Lemont Metra Parking lot are now able to conduct their parking transactions by mobile phone, that will allow commuters an opportunity to save time by using their mobile phone to pay for parking. Commuters may initiate parking sessions from the comfort of their vehicle, while walking to the train, or riding on the train. Payments must be made by 10:00 a.m.

Using the System

To use the new Passport Parking system, customers register for free from their mobile phone by downloading the mobile app, calling the toll free number on the signage or sticker, or at the Passport Parking system website.

Once registered, motorists can use a mobile app, the internet, or a mobile phone to call 630-581-2445, to pay for parking. The phone number is displayed on signage throughout the facility, and on the parking pay stations.

After setting up the account, customers can immediately start using the system with their registered mobile phone. Motorists can also select the option to alerts and reminders fifteen minutes before their time expires. Motorists can track parking expenses, and print reports through the Passport Parking’s secure website.

Fees

The fee for using the electronic system is $1.75 with ZERO convenience fee.
