The village maintains over 1300 street lights. All street lights have been inventoried; each street light has a yellow tag on the street side of the pole.

• A number starting with a V followed with a number is owned and maintained by the village.
• A number starting with a C followed with a number is owned and maintained by Com Ed.

To report a street light outage call Public Works at 630-257-2532 between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Give the letter C or V followed with the number, i.e. V100 or C100 and address if possible. The village owned lights will be repaired as soon as possible. Com Ed lights may also be called in to Public Works and we will place the call to Com Ed to report the outage.
