SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 - MAKE A WISH PARADE FOR MADDIE WESOLOWSKI

Lemont High School sophomore Maddie Wesolowski recently learned her wish for a service dog would be granted, and Make-A-Wish of Illinois has invited the Lemont community to help her and her new puppy, Cooper, celebrate! A parade in Maddie’s honor will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, near Lemont High School’s tennis courts. The parade will continue across McCarthy Road and continue on Houston Street and Freehauf Street, with a final destination of Maddie’s home on Hillview Drive.

Everyone in the Lemont community is invited to help Maddie celebrate! Please make your plans to walk your dog in the parade or to cheer on Maddie along the parade route. Staging for the parade will begin at 1 p.m. at Lemont High School.
