Join us for our Forge Winter Youth Fishing & Fire Derby!

Cast a line and warm up with our fires. Our Forge Winter Youth Fishing & Fire Derby is the perfect time for young anglers to practice their casts and hang out with new friends around the fire pits. *Alternative date will be Sunday, February 27th if event cancellation occurs.

Event Overview

• Check-In - 7:30am, Lower Quarry Shelf

• Fishing Restricted to The Forge Quarry

  • *Fishing is restricted to Lower Quarry Shelf and West Banks only. No fishing will be allowed along the North Edge due to risk of entanglement with ziplines

• Awards Presentation - 11:15am, Lower Quarry Shelf

• Must bring own fishing equipment (2 poles maximum) and bait

• Ages 5 - 8: $5 per Registered Participant

  • Award: Medal of Participation

• Ages 9 - 16: $10 per Registered Participant

  • Award: $50 cash prize for Most Fish Caught

    • Tie-breaker: Longest Fish Caught, measured by a Forge Staff Member

    • Participants aged 16 years old will require a current fishing license

• Adults accompanying a child fishing do not need a fishing license if they do not participate in fishing at all. Adults may help bait the hook and help children cast & reel in, but cannot actively fish for them.
